Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceuticals International AG is seeking an Associate Director for Network Strategy Management based in Zurich or Boston. The role leads strategic studies, develops analytical frameworks, and drives AI-enabled modelling across a global manufacturing network.

You will influence senior leaders and coordinate with GSQ, Global Manufacturing, and Units to align capacity, investment, and network design decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biological sciences, or pharmacy.
• 8+ years in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry with financial analysis responsibility.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams at manufacturing site or corporate support function.
• Ability to develop complex models and analyze multiple scenarios for risk and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead or own workstreams in strategic network studies and scenario planning.
• Develop robust analyses linking strategic objectives with financial and manufacturing considerations.
• Promote common network-modelling methods across regions and portfolios.
• Establish data standards, methodologies, and performance measures for network modelling.
• Chair governance reviews and guide decisions on models, data standards, and AI use.
• Set roadmap and operating model for AI-enabled network modelling with Digital and Data teams.
• Advise senior leaders, challenge assumptions, and align decisions with broad impact.
• Anticipate challenges, assess risks, and turn scenarios into actionable recommendations.
• Foster innovation and data-driven decision-making across Network Strategy.
