Job summary

Datwyler seeks a Head of Continuous Improvement to shape and drive the global CI strategy, establishing governance and measurable impact across the organization. You will lead cross‑functional programs, coach teams, and advance Lean and Six Sigma capabilities while partnering with senior leaders to embed CI into operations.

You will build global CI maturity, deploy standardized tools, and champion data-driven problem solving across sites, regions and functions worldwide.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior CI/Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Excellence roles within multinational companies.
• Proven track record leading large-scale CI deployments across multi-site and international organizations.
• Strong experience delivering measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost, delivery and process performance.
• Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and structured problem-solving in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Experience leading cross-functional CI programs, facilitating kaizen events, and CI maturity assessments.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive global CI strategy in alignment with business objectives and Operational Excellence vision.
• Develop, standardize, and continuously improve CI methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Lead evolution of CI into an integrated global system with governance and maturity frameworks.
• Partner with leadership to support major transformation initiatives and ensure adoption and value realization.
• Provide leadership and support for cross-functional CI programs across the organization.
• Establish and maintain global CI governance, standards, and operating mechanisms.
• Define accountability models balancing global standards with local ownership.
• Monitor improvement performance through KPIs, portfolios, and governance reviews.
• Support divisions in measuring and reporting operational and financial benefits.
• Build CI capabilities through training, coaching, and certification programs.
• Develop a global network of CI managers and change agents for knowledge transfer.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence, Lean leadership, and continuous learning.
