Job summary

Weidmann Group seeks an experienced Operational Excellence Leader to drive Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing sites. The role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance, coaching teams, and delivering DMAIC-based improvements.

You will partner with operations, engineering, materials, quality and HR to sustain improvements and build CI capability across sites, promoting a culture of learning and engagement onsite as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, with a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience and 2 years of leadership experience.
• Strong general ledger accounting knowledge and ability to troubleshoot accounting issues.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing priorities.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to build cross-functional relationships; proficient in Office 365 apps and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing facilities.
• Drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Support and execute the company's Operational Excellence strategy and global standards.
• Lead cross-functional process optimization and operational improvement projects.
• Implement and standardize continuous improvement tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by coaching and engaging employees at all levels.
