Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Procurement, External Supply, or Commercial roles within the pharmaceutical/biologics industry.
• Proven track record of leading critical negotiations and long-term supply agreements.
• Deep understanding of biologics manufacturing, CMO/CDMO landscape, and value-driving KPIs.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with expertise in cost drivers and should-cost models.
• Ability to design robust pricing and contract models with value-based deal structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead Procurement across BD&L transactions from early assessment to execution, defining commercial models and contractual structures.
• Assess the financial health of new partners to safeguard long-term partnerships.
• Drive cost transparency and lifecycle cost optimization; ensure governance readiness.
• Represent Procurement in Investment Committees and BD&L governance forums.
• Structure contracts to secure long-term value with KPIs, flexibility, and protection against escalation.
• Lead a high-performing Procurement BD&L capability and foster a culture of ownership and value creation.
