Qualifications

• 15+ years in procurement, external supply, or commercial roles within pharma/biotech.
• Proven track record negotiating long-term supply agreements.
• Deep knowledge of biologics, CMO/CDMO landscape, cost structures, KPIs.
• Strong financial acumen including should-cost modelling.
• Ability to design flexible pricing and contract models.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement across BD&L transactions from early assessment to execution, defining models and contracts.
• Assess financial health of new partners to safeguard long-term partnerships.
• Drive cost transparency, should-cost insights, and lifecycle value.
• Represent Procurement in Investment Committees and governance forums.
• Design and implement commercial constructs (pricing, risk-sharing) for lifecycle optimization.
• Structure contracts for long-term value with KPIs, flexibility and protection against leakage.
• Drive COGS competitiveness and cross-portfolio synergies.
• Identify value levers across deal structures and lifecycle phases.
• Build and deliver a long-term value plan targeting productivity improvements.
• Shape global supplier landscape and align BD&L partnerships with strategy.
• Drive decisions on partner segmentation and sourcing strategies.
