Clear Solutions Laboratories in Basel, Switzerland, is seeking a Business Development & Sales Manager to expand the client base, develop existing accounts and drive new business opportunities across our service portfolio. You will engage with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, translate technical challenges into projects, and guide opportunities from initial contact to award.

The role requires a strong technical background in drug product manufacturing or development, excellent communication

Qualifikationen

• Requires degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biotechnology, engineering, life sciences, or related field.
• Several years of technical experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly parenteral drug product manufacturing or development.
• Strong communication skills and confidence interfacing with Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, MSAT, and Development teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Aufgaben

• Develop new clients by identifying pharma, biotech, and CDMO companies and engaging stakeholders.
• Lead client discussions to understand technical challenges, projects, timelines, and requirements.
• Turn client needs into projects by gathering information and coordinating with internal specialists.
• Prepare commercial proposals including scope, deliverables, timelines, pricing and terms with colleagues.
• Negotiate and close contracts by discussing scope, pricing, timelines and terms to secure projects.
• Develop client relationships and key accounts for repeat business and cross-selling opportunities.
• Manage the sales pipeline and CRM, track opportunities and actions, support revenue planning.
• Develop sales and marketing materials with technical experts for client acquisition.
• Represent the company at meetings, conferences and events to generate leads and opportunities.
