Job summary

Ansaldo Energia in Switzerland invites a qualified mechanical technician to join our field service team, performing and supervising gas turbine inspections and maintenance worldwide. You will travel up to 90% of the time, supervise local service personnel, ensure compliance with EH&S and quality standards, and provide written reports about executed work.

Qualifications

Qualified mechanical technician with a solid practical background and a completed mechanical apprenticeship.
Over 1 year of continuous work experience, preferably in field service on heavy rotating machinery.
Willingness to travel worldwide and to supervise maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform and supervise mechanical service work during inspections and maintenance on gas turbines worldwide.
Supervise local service personnel to ensure work meets specifications and outage schedules.
Ensure all work complies with Environmental, Health & Safety standards and quality requirements.
Provide written reports documenting executed assignments and outcomes.
