Job summary

COMET AG is seeking a Global Demand Planner to join the Plasma Control Technologies division in Flamatt. The role focuses on coordinating demand planning, S&OP activities, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure aligned supply and customer needs.

A strong analytical mindset and SAP experience are essential. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in a related field and 3–5 years in demand planning or production planning, with fluent English and German as an advantage.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
3–5 years of experience in Demand Planning, S&OP/IBP, Production Planning or related function.
Strong analytical skills to translate KPIs and scenarios into insights.
Good understanding of inventory management and material allocation; experience with SAP.

Responsibilities

Support the global S&OP process by consolidating cross-functional inputs, preparing meetings and following up on actions.
Contribute to consensus forecasts and demand/supply reconciliation, identify gaps and risks, and support mitigations.
Consolidate customer demand and priorities to support transparent allocation decisions.
Coordinate demand planning and track progress for product transfers, ramp-ups and phase-outs.
Monitor forecast accuracy and KPIs; coordinate corrective actions and digitalize planning processes.
