Job summary

Roche is seeking a Global Lead Construction Safety to drive strategic safety governance across its capital projects worldwide. You will lead a proactive safety culture, deploy standardized tools, and empower site teams to stop work when needed, ensuring rapid incident response and continuous learning.

The role requires a Master’s degree, CSP credential, and 15+ years of international construction safety experience, with up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential is preferred.
• 15+ years of international construction safety experience on large capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce global construction safety guidance across capital projects.
• Build a shared safety culture with active employee and contractor engagement.
• Develop and roll out toolkits like Safety Plans and risk checklists.
• Enforce Stop Work Authority for unsafe conditions on sites.
• Lead incident response and lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor monthly safety indicators and participate in project reviews.
