Job summary

Roche in Basel seeks a Global Project Manager to lead a broad range of development, post-approval and integration initiatives across global teams, ensuring design controls and milestones are met. You will translate device strategy into actionable plans with the Technical Development Team Lead and Device Team Leader, driving execution, risk management and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated environment.

Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8–11 years of experience, 5+ years in global medical device/pharma.
• Experience in drug/medical device development and commercialization, especially combination products.
• PMP certification is an asset.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR 820.30 design controls.
• Experience with vendor/partner collaboration.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects independently in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Fluent English required; German/Japanese/Danish advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Translate device strategy into actionable plans with TDTL & DTL.
• Define and manage project scope, milestones, and budgets.
• Ensure design controls and deliverables are met across teams.
• Foster effective team dynamics and cross-functional collaboration.
• Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders; manage changes accordingly.
• Lead risk management, issue resolution, and lessons learned.
