Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Global Manufacturing Process Definition & Improvement Specialist Professional to lead the standardization and optimization of casting processes across our global operations.

You will drive efficiency, implement best practices, and work with cross-functional teams to elevate quality and output. You will analyze bottlenecks using lean and Six Sigma, design improvements, and scale automation and digital initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field; master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong experience in casting process engineering and process improvement in a global manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record implementing process improvements and operational excellence.
• Solid knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), and CI tools.
• Experience with MES, ERP, and manufacturing software; capable of process mapping and value stream mapping.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and documentation of standardized casting processes and equipment across global sites.
• Analyze existing casting processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies using lean/Six Sigma.
• Design and implement process and equipment improvements, including automation and new tech.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, quality, and production for seamless integration.
• Develop and deliver training programs for manufacturing personnel on new processes.
• Monitor KPIs, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct process audits and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Support digital manufacturing initiatives and Industry 4.0 implementations.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory requirements; travel internationally as needed.
