Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy in Zurich is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives across manufacturing operations. You will coach teams, identify bottlenecks, and lead transformational projects on the shop floor with a strong data-driven approach.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in engineering or operations management, 5+ years of CI/Operational Excellence experience, Green Belt (Black Belt preferred), and willingness to travel at least 20%.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, operations management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence or Process Engineering in manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.
• Experience leading Kaizen events, Gemba activities, process mapping, value stream analysis, root cause analysis, and change management initiatives.
• Strong communication, facilitation, training and presentation skills; data-driven decision making.
• Willingness to travel regularly (minimum 20%) and fluency in English; German or Swedish an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Act as CI advisor to Factory Managers and leadership teams, driving data-driven analyses and optimization initiatives.
• Identify bottlenecks, remove constraints, improve flow and end-to-end value stream performance.
• Lead Kaizen Events and Rapid Improvement Workshops to accelerate problem-solving and sustainable results.
• Train, coach and mentor employees in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and certification programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to map and redesign end-to-end processes.
• Monitor, track, and communicate improvement program results through KPIs.
• Travel regularly to support factories and improvement initiatives (minimum 20%).
