Job summary

The Global Fund seeks a Manager, Allocation and Modelling to lead its allocation methodology and strategic modelling for three‑year funding cycles. You will drive scenario analysis, qualitative adjustments, and governance reporting, while building in-house modelling capacity and engaging with external partners to inform investment decisions.

You will translate complex evidence into actionable recommendations, supervise a high‑performing analytics team, and lead cross‑functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in health economics, public health, economics or quantitative discipline.
• Significant experience leading quantitative and qualitative analysis and modelling.
• Experience with digital tools, Excel modelling and scripting in Python.
• Ability to translate data into clear policy and investment options.

Responsibilities

• Lead allocation and strategic modelling capability and set priorities.
• Develop and implement allocation methodology for multi‑year cycles.
• Oversee end‑to‑end allocation execution and reporting to governance.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leadership with evidence‑driven investment choices.
• Engage external partners and modelling groups to triangulate models and evidence.
• Drive innovation in modelling, including responsible AI use and quality assurance.
• Lead and develop the Allocation & Strategic Modelling team and operating model.
• Track and report the allocation financial waterfall from country splits to final grants.
