Hitachi Energy Ltd. invites motivated engineering students or graduates to join the GIS Technology Development team in Switzerland for an internship of 6–12 months.

You will assist in GIS test activities, organize documentation, and help evaluate results using Excel, LabVIEW and Python in a dynamic, international environment. The role offers hands-on experience in high‑voltage technology, collaboration across cross‑functional teams, mentorship, and opportunities to develop practical skills in

Qualifikationen

Enrolled student or graduate in EE/ME/Physics.
Experience with COMSOL Multiphysics or similar simulation software is advantageous.
Basic programming skills or willingness to learn (Excel, LabVIEW, Python).
Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
Creative and solution-focused mindset.
Comfortable in a multicultural, multidisciplinary setting.

Aufgaben

Support type tests (high power, high voltage, high current, mechanical, environmental etc.) in GIS development projects.
Organize, prepare, attend and document test activities.
Evaluate test results using tools like Excel, LabVIEW or Python.
Develop and improve test evaluation tools.
Collaborate in development projects and daily operations.
Contribute to solving short-term technical challenges.
Work closely with cross-functional teams.
Ensure high-quality documentation and reporting.
