Hitachi, Ltd. invites motivated students or recent graduates to join a hands-on internship in Zürich, Switzerland, focused on high-voltage GIS development. You’ll participate in tests, analyze results, and contribute to tool development in a dynamic, international environment.

This 6–12 month program offers mentorship, exposure to COMSOL and programming basics, and collaboration across engineering teams to deliver real-world solutions while growing technical and analytical skills.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled student (Bachelor or Master) or graduate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics.
• Experience with COMSOL Multiphysics or similar simulation software is advantageous.
• Basic programming skills or willingness to learn (Excel, LabVIEW, Python).
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Creative and solution-focused mindset.
• Comfortable in a multicultural, multidisciplinary setting.

Aufgaben

• Support type tests (high power, high voltage, high current, mechanical, environmental etc.) in GIS development projects.
• Organize, prepare, attend and document test activities.
• Evaluate test results using tools like Excel, LabVIEW or Python.
• Develop and improve test evaluation tools.
• Collaborate in development projects and daily operations.
• Contribute to solving short-term technical challenges.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure high-quality documentation and reporting.
