Qualifikationen

• Completed apprenticeship (EFZ) as Electrical Draftsman, Automation Technician, Electrical Technician, or equivalent
• 2–3 years of professional experience in electrical engineering design, drafting, automation, or project execution
• Further education such as HF, Technical College, or equivalent preferred
• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering may be considered, but role targets hands-on design experience over advanced academics
• Good understanding of electrical engineering principles; interest in high-voltage GIS technology
• Ability to read and create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Experience with CAD or engineering software required
• Structured, detail-oriented, good teamwork and communication skills
• Good English skills; German is an advantage

Aufgaben

• Prepare schematics and related engineering documents for GIS secondary engineering scopes (LCC and digital substations)
• Support engineering execution across project phases from base to detail design
• Create preliminary BOMs, reports, and manufacturing documents
• Perform self-checks to ensure high-quality, standard-compliant deliverables
• Support technical clarifications with stakeholders, project teams, and factories
• Contribute to continuous improvement, standardization, and best practices
• Apply internal guidelines and quality requirements for safe, efficient project execution
