Job summary

Nicoll Curtin is assisting a leading private banking and wealth management organisation in Basel to recruit a Head of Fund Operations. This senior role will lead a specialist team, oversee fund operations across Swiss and Luxembourg funds, and ensure data quality and compliance.

The candidate will drive NAV data accuracy, coordinate with fund administrators, and contribute to valuation decisions while seeking opportunities to automate reporting processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in fund controlling, accounting, administration or audit.
• Knowledge of Swiss and Luxembourg fund frameworks (CISA/FINMA/AMAS, UCITS/CSSF).
• Experience with NAV data and fund administrators.
• Strong scripting/DB skills in Python, SQL, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a three-person Fund Operations team across Swiss and Luxembourg funds.
• Oversee fund data flows, data quality and system coordination.
• Calculate and validate metrics (TER, PTR, OGC) and manage PRIIPs KID.
• Act as NAV data counterpart to fund administrator and resolve errors.
• Contribute to Valuation Committee decisions and annual/semi-annual reports.
• Coordinate audits, tax advisors and fund-related invoices; oversee reports.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
