Job summary

International Private Bank and Asset Manager in Basel, Switzerland seeks a Head of Fund Operations to transform fund operations with a blend of leadership and hands-on technical skills. The role focuses on automation, process optimization and delivering efficient operating models in a regulated environment.

The successful candidate will oversee NAV validation, fund data management, valuations and regulatory reporting, while driving improvements across Swiss and Luxembourg funds.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in fund accounting, fund controlling, fund administration or fund audit.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss fund frameworks; Luxembourg fund frameworks is highly desirable.
• Excellent understanding of NAV oversight, fund valuations and reporting.
• Strong Python, VBA and advanced Excel skills for automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a specialist Fund Operations team covering Swiss and Luxembourg funds.
• Oversee NAV validation, fund data management, valuations and regulatory reporting.
• Manage fund calculations including TER, PTR, OGC and PRIIPs KIDs.
• Work closely with external fund administrators, including CACEIS.
• Drive process improvements and automation using Python, VBA and advanced Excel.
• Contribute to valuation decisions, audits and fund-related tax matters.

What you'll do
