Job summary

The mortgage operations team at eClerx in Zurich, Switzerland is seeking a Mortgage Operations Analyst (French Speaking) to join our fast-paced Credit Operations group. You will review, process and close mortgage loans, coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Fluent French is required, with English and/or German an advantage.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of mortgage processing or related mortgage operations experience in Switzerland.
• Solid understanding of Swiss mortgage products and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience with credit processing systems such as Avaloq or Finnova.
• Notary designation is a plus.
• Fluent French; English and/or German an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and process mortgage loan applications for completeness and compliance.
• Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, title companies, appraisers, and borrowers to collect documents.
• Verify borrower income, assets, employment, and credit details.
• Maintain processing pipeline and ensure on-time closings.
• Perform quality control checks to meet investor and compliance guidelines.
• Identify and resolve processing issues or delays proactively.
• Input and update data in loan origination systems and related platforms.
• Ensure compliance with FINMA and other mortgage regulations.
• Provide regular status updates to borrowers and stakeholders.
• Support audit requests and post-closing reviews.
