Job summary

BLP seeks its first in-house lawyer to build the legal function from scratch and protect a business implementing agentic AI in ERP processes for 550+ customers. You will report to the CFO and collaborate with Sales, Finance, People and Product across Switzerland, Germany, the UK and the US, with 40+ countries served.

In 12 months, you’ll deploy a contract playbook, standard templates, and a robust data protection/compliance framework to enable rapid, compliant growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of legal experience, including at least 3 years in-house at a B2B SaaS or tech company.
• Admitted to the bar in Switzerland or another European jurisdiction.
• Negotiated enterprise SaaS contracts with large customers.
• Hands-on GDPR and data protection experience; aware of EU AI Act.
• Built a contract process, template library, or legal function from zero.
• Fluent in English and German; pragmatic, fast-moving partner.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial contracting end-to-end: negotiate MSAs, DPAs and SLAs with enterprise teams.
• Build the legal toolkit: templates, negotiation playbook, clear approval rules.
• Lead data protection and AI compliance across GDPR, FADP and EU AI Act; support security reviews.
• Run corporate housekeeping for BLP Digital AG and subsidiaries; board/shareholder matters, cap table.
• Advise on employment law across countries; protect IP and trademarks with People team.
• Select and manage external counsel; decide what stays in-house.
