Job summary

BLP Digital AG in Zurich seeks its first in-house lawyer to build the legal function and protect a business that embeds agentic AI into ERP processes for 550+ enterprise customers. You report to the CFO and partner with Sales, Finance, People and Product across Switzerland, Germany, the UK and the US.

In your first 12 months, you’ll implement a contract playbook, standard templates, and a clear compliance framework for data protection and AI regulation.

Qualifications

• You are the first in-house lawyer for BLP Digital AG, with 7+ years of legal experience in B2B SaaS or tech and cross-border matters.
• You are admitted to the bar in Switzerland or another European jurisdiction and can advise on Swiss, EU, UK and US matters with external support.
• You have negotiated enterprise SaaS contracts with large customers and closed deals on business-friendly terms.
• You have hands-on GDPR and data protection experience and follow the EU AI Act closely.
• You have built a contract process, template library, or legal function from scratch.
• You are pragmatic and commercial, able to give risk-weighted advice in plain language in fluent English and German.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial contracting end-to-end: negotiate MSAs, DPAs and SLAs with enterprise procurement.
• Build the legal toolkit: templates, a playbook, and approval rules for standard deals.
• Lead data protection and AI compliance across GDPR, Swiss FADP and EU AI Act; support security reviews.
• Run corporate housekeeping for BLP Digital AG and subsidiaries in DE, UK, US; board matters and cap table.
• Advise on employment law across countries and protect IP and trademarks with the People team.
• Select and manage external counsel; decide what stays in-house vs. outsources.
