PromptPartner is seeking Founding Engineers to build AI automation systems for European businesses. You will shape both product and the company from day one, owning architecture, roadmap, and culture in a fast-paced startup environment.

Expect to work with Claude Code as your primary development environment, leverage AI assistants daily, and collaborate closely with customers to deliver impactful, scalable solutions. Hybrid options in Zurich/Barcelona and remote across Europe are available.

What You'll Do

As a Founding Engineer, you'll shape both the product and the company. This is a 0-to-1 role with real influence—on architecture, on roadmap, on culture.

• Build core systems — APIs, integrations, automation infrastructure
• Make architecture decisions — no one's going to hand you a spec
• Ship features fast — from idea to production in days, not months
• Work directly with customers — understand problems, deliver solutions
• Set the technical bar — your code becomes the standard for future hires
• Influence product direction — you're not just executing, you're deciding

This isn't optional. We're an AI company building with AI.

• Claude Code as your primary development environment—fluency required
• Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf or similar AI coding assistants daily
• Writing PRDs and specs that AI tools can execute effectively
• Building and orchestrating AI agents using MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• Experience with Claude API, GPT APIs for building AI-powered features
• Using Google Stitch, v0.dev or similar for rapid prototyping
• Staying current with AI dev tools—things change weekly, we adapt faster
• You should be pushing the boundaries of what's possible with AI-assisted development

You're a builder at heart. You thrive in ambiguity, love solving hard problems, and want your fingerprints on every part of the product.
