Zusammenfassung

Volpi Group in Dietikon, Switzerland, seeks a Financial Accountant (100%) to support Swiss accounting, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain regulatory compliance. You will closely collaborate with the Swiss team and act as a coordination partner for the US accounting function.

You will own day-to-day Swiss accounting, lead closing cycles, ensure tax compliance, and contribute to process improvements across finance and ERP systems, including SAP ByDesign.

Qualifikationen

• Swiss Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of professional accounting/finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR).
• Experience in a Swiss SME/KMU environment (50–150 employees).
• Experience with financial reporting and monthly/quarterly/yearly closings.

Aufgaben

• Own day-to-day accounting for the Swiss entity: AR, AP, cash management and related processes.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities and prepare statutory/management statements.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss tax regulations and internal policies.
• Act as senior point of contact for accounting topics and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate group consolidation, intercompany activities and cross-border reporting.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, controls, and ERP/reporting capabilities, especially SAP ByDesign.
• Oversee Swiss and international tax matters including VAT, corporate tax and transfer pricing; liaise with external advisors.
• Coordinate customs and trade compliance and monitor regulatory developments affecting finance.
