Batgroup in Switzerland is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting, ensure accurate financial records, and support broader financial operations during growth. You will touch all aspects of the accounting cycle and collaborate with the finance team to optimize processes.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, fluency in French and English, and strong Excel/ERP skills. This is a hands-on position supporting Swiss GAAP and local compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Brevet Fédéral de spécialiste en finance et comptabilité or CFC d'employé(e) de commerce with a strong accounting focus.
• 5–10 years of proven experience as an Accountant in fast-paced environments.
• Solid understanding of Swiss accounting principles (Swiss OR).
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with modern ERP systems or accounting software; BI a plus.
• Fluent in French and English; German considered an asset.
• Strong accuracy, integrity, analytical mindset, autonomy, and deadline handling.

Aufgaben

• General Ledger Management: maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: process supplier invoices, expense reports, and customer billing.
• Reconciliations: perform bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Month-End & Year-End Close: assist with closing processes and journals.
• Taxes & Compliance: assist Swiss VAT returns and local tax regulations.
• Reporting: support monthly financial statements, management reports, and analyses.
• Process Optimization: identify and implement process improvements and controls.
