Flex is seeking a Business Developer (a) – Injection Molding & Plastics in Hägglingen, Switzerland. The role focuses on building and expanding strategic customer relationships across Europe in the medical and pharmaceutical plastics sector.

As Technical Sales Manager, you will lead negotiations, analyze market opportunities, and drive sustainable growth with existing and new customers, traveling about 20% across Europe in a dynamic, multinational team at Flex.

Qualifications

• Engineering, science, or business degree with experience in tooling, plastic injection molding, or automation.
• Self-motivated sales personality with persistence, able to open new business fields and win new customers and orders, including cold calling.
• Independent, structured work style with high commitment and closing strength; strong team player in a matrix organization.
• Resilience in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in German and English; any other European language is a plus.
• Advantage: existing network with customers in high-volume medical plastic products.
• Good computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel ~20% across Europe and a driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Independently acquire new customers in the medical and pharmaceutical industries using existing networks in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, and Italy, especially in high-volume plastics.
• Active business development and relationship management to support existing design and commercial programs.
• Lead negotiations on new opportunities/offers, development and commercial supply contracts, and support CH-specific sites in business/commercial questions.
• Analyze business strategies, future product plans and customer expansion activities to deploy Flex resources profitably.
• Develop and foster new strategic relationships with key customers in Europe.
• Present innovative business strategies to management, executives, and key customers, and network in the international group environment.
