CERN in Geneva seeks a Procurement Professional in the Supplies (SU) section to support ERP implementation and S2C projects, including IT/software procurements and license agreements.

You will draft commercial documents, define procurement strategies, source suppliers, negotiate terms, and oversee contracts. Fluent English is required, with a commitment to learn French; the role is hybrid, 40 hours/week, 24 months with possible extension. Global benefits apply.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree with 2–6 years post-graduation experience or PhD with up to 3 years experience.
• National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
• Experience drafting commercial documents for supply/IT contracts or license agreements.
• Define procurement strategies and source new suppliers.
• Fluent English; commitment to learn French.

Aufgaben

• Participate in the new ERP implementation Project.
• Participate in procurements for supply and IT contracts and license agreements, including price inquiries, tenders, negotiations, and placing orders.
• Provide regular reports to management on procurement progress.
