Hexagon Robotics, a division of Hexagon, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the perception team for our state‑of‑the‑art humanoid robot AEON. You will own the roadmap, balance research and product needs, and ensure production‑quality CV/ML pipelines running on real robots.

You will guide the stack from sensors and pipelines to CV/ML algorithms for detection, segmentation, tracking, 6D pose estimation, and mapping, while growing the team and maintaining high engineering standards across the

Qualifications

• Proven line management experience with people responsibilities and a hands-on approach.
• Experience working across teams and with stakeholders to align priorities and delivery.
• Deep, hands-on expertise in computer vision and ML for perception (detection, segmentation, 6D pose, mapping).
• Track record of deploying cutting-edge CV/ML research into production systems in real-world conditions.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the perception team; mentor engineers and hire as the team grows.
• Own the roadmap; balance product needs, research bets and technical debt with stakeholders across teams.
• Maintain engineering excellence through design reviews, testing, and quality practices while enabling exploration.
• Define technical direction of the perception stack from sensors to CV/ML models for robust operation.
• Bring research into production; identify promising methods and deploy them to production.”
• Own the ML lifecycle (data, training, evaluation, deployment, improvement).
• Ensure reliability and performance of perception as a product at customer sites.
