Hexagon Robotics in Zurich is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the mechanical development of our humanoid robots. You will design hardware and mentor engineers, aligning objectives with company goals and collaborating across electronics, robotics, and production teams.

You will build the team, define milestones, and drive the mechanical roadmap with the Tech Lead. This role requires hands-on leadership, architectural thinking, and a delivery-driven mindset in a fast-growing robotics

Qualifikationen

• Proven leadership experience with coaching and career development.
• Strong hands-on mechanical engineering background (3D CAD, drawings, prototyping).
• Experience with CAD/PDM systems and documentation; NX is a plus.
• Proven track record in multidisciplinary hardware development.
• Ability to influence, align stakeholders and drive decisions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Delivery-focused mindset balancing speed, cost, quality.

Aufgaben

• Build and grow the best-in-class mechanical engineering team.
• Plan and drive execution by translating product needs into team milestones.
• Own the mechanical engineering roadmap with Tech Lead alignment.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, 1:1s, feedback and career development.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with electronics, firmware, QA, product, systems, manufacturing and supply chain.
• Define and improve engineering processes, CAD/PDM standards, and design guidelines.
• Lead the team to deliver high-quality, reliable mechanical designs and formal reviews.
