Job summary

Hexagon Robotics seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the mechanical development of our humanoid robots. You will design hardware, grow engineers, and align objectives with company goals across electronics, robotics, and production teams.

You'll drive the mechanical roadmap, manage a multi-disciplinary team, and ensure delivery of manufacturable, serviceable hardware with rigorous design reviews and verification methods.

Qualifications

• Proven people leadership experience managing engineers or teams.
• Strong hands-on mechanical engineering background with CAD, drawings, tolerances and prototyping.
• Experience in multidisciplinary hardware development from concept to production.
• Ability to lead discussions, align stakeholders and empower engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a best-in-class mechanical engineering team for robot hardware.
• Translate product needs into clear team objectives, milestones and delivery plans.
• Define the mechanical roadmap and align architecture with the Tech Lead.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, feedback and career development.
• Collaborate with electronics, firmware, QA, product, systems, manufacturing and supply chain.
