Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a Global organization in Geneva to recruit a Payroll Administrator responsible for end-to-end payroll processing with an external provider. The role includes reviewing changes, ensuring monthly payroll accuracy, and supporting monthly close activities in collaboration with Finance and HR.

You will navigate Swiss payroll regulations, manage ERP systems, and communicate with stakeholders in English (French/German a plus).

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in payroll administration.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss payroll regulations and social security contributions.
• Proven experience managing payroll processes with external providers.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Experience with payroll ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Fluent in English; French and/or German are an advantage.
• Able to work autonomously while collaborating with HR, Finance and other stakeholders.
• Professional, discreet, and committed to delivering a high-quality payroll service.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process with the external payroll provider.
• Review, validate, and process payroll-related changes and employee data.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing.
• Support monthly close activities, including accruals, forecasting, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance on payroll costs and budget analysis.
• Perform reconciliations of social security contributions, pension schemes, and payroll accounts.
• Process and monitor HR-related invoices.
• Liaise with social insurance institutions and internal stakeholders.
• Respond to employee and management queries regarding payroll calculations and administration.
