Qualifikationen

• MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent physician qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years direct patient care experience.
• Experience developing regional/global Medical Affairs strategy across product lifecycle.
• Proven people leadership including talent development and capability building.
• Ability to lead and influence across complex global matrices with senior leaders.
• Strong scientific and clinical expertise including research and evidence generation.
• Ability to translate medical insights into strategic business and portfolio recommendations.
• Experience leading Medical Affairs for innovation, product introduction, and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of medical governance, healthcare compliance, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated executive presence and communication with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
• Ability and willingness to travel ~30%.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute the EMEA Medical Affairs strategy for Surgery and Mentor, aligned with global strategy and product lifecycle needs.
• Provide leadership for the EMEA Medical Affairs organization, including talent development and resource prioritization.
• Serve as the senior medical leader for Surgery and Mentor portfolios in EMEA, offering scientific leadership.
• Identify regional evidence needs and shape regional studies and contribute to global evidence plans.
• Provide medical leadership across product lifecycle management, innovation, and new product introduction.
• Lead regional medical governance ensuring regulatory, ethical, and compliance standards.
• Provide external scientific leadership with healthcare professionals, societies, and academia.
• Translate regional medical insights into recommendations for EMEA business priorities and global strategy.
• Lead Robotics & Digital Medical Affairs activities across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC.
• Collaborate with Global Robotics & Digital teams to identify evidence needs and priorities.
• Synthesize insights across regions to inform global strategy and innovation priorities.
