The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) invites applications for the EcoSec Policy & Partnerships Advisor role in Geneva. This senior position shapes EcoSec’s policy narrative, guidance and external positioning, coordinating with field teams and HQ to integrate policy with protection and IHL priorities.

You will engage with donors, international financial institutions and humanitarian peers, driving policy initiatives and ensuring alignment with ICRC strategy.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in international relations, international law, development studies, agricultural/food economics or other relevant subject.
• Verbal and written fluency in French and English is required; other languages is a plus.
• Computer proficiency; familiarity with digital communication and multimedia content for policy and advocacy.

Aufgaben

• Leads policy positions, narrative and guidance reflecting EcoSec priorities and ICRC strategy.
• Analyses qualitative/quantitative evidence from field programmes to inform policy decisions.
• Engages with Protection, Legal, and OSI teams to align analytical approaches with priorities.
• Develops processes and guidance enabling field teams to document and analyse impacts on food systems and livelihoods.
• Represents EcoSec in external policy forums and engages with donors and partners on policy issues.
