You're expected to hold a chemistry-related degree (ideally PhD) with several years of leadership in chemical product development, plus strong regulatory, quality, and international collaboration skills.

Qualifikationen

• Leadership experience in product development and technology.
• Experience in the chemical industry, especially chemical technology in paper manufacturing.
• Project management and leading interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of Regulatory Affairs (BPR, REACH) and quality management.
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).

Aufgaben

• Strategic planning of the Product Development and Technology department after familiarisation.
• Development and implementation of innovation strategies to create new products and technologies.
• Coordination and supervision of product development projects with internal departments and external partners.
• Market analyses and trend scouting to identify future developments.
• Ensure compliance with BPR/REACH and other regulatory demands.
• Support for patent applications and intellectual property.
• Responsibility for quality management and safety.
• Support for sales with technical questions and product issues (on-site with customers).
• Budget responsibility and resource management for department projects.
• Execution of the regulatory strategy of our products.
