Syngenta seeks a Team Leader Process Technology – New AI (m/f/d) in Münchwilen, Switzerland, onsite, to lead 1–3 lab technicians and drive chemistry process development from lab to pilot scale. You will fuse chemistry, data, and digital tools to deliver safe, scalable, and innovative manufacturing processes.

The role requires a PhD in organic chemistry or chemical engineering, strong data science exposure, and fluency in English with optional German/French advantage.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in organic chemistry or chemical engineering with post‑doc or equivalent.
• Fluent English; German and French advantageous.
• Experience with data science, statistics, modelling, automation, or process analytical techniques.
• Basic knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or R, or willingness to learn.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team of 1–3 lab technicians in a chemistry lab.
• Develop and scale‑up chemical reactions toward manufacturing.
• Prepare and support pilot campaigns and maintain process know‑how.
• Design lab experiments and pilot campaigns to generate process understanding.
• Maintain documentation of lab results and project requirements.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and transfer know‑how.
