Zusammenfassung

Servophil AG in Hünenberg (ZG), Switzerland, seeks a Manager Product Development & Technology to lead the Product Development and Technology department. The role includes strategic planning, innovation, and project leadership across internal and external partners.

You're expected to hold a chemistry-related degree (ideally PhD) with several years of leadership in chemical product development, plus strong regulatory, quality, and international collaboration skills.

• Strategic planning of the Product Development and Technology department after familiarisation.

• Coordination and supervision of product development projects with internal departments and external partners.
• Market analyses and trend scouting to identify future developments.
• Ensure compliance with BPR/REACH and other regulatory demands.
• Support for patent applications and intellectual property.
• Responsibility for quality management and safety.
• Support for sales with technical questions and product issues (on-site with customers).
• Budget responsibility and resource management for department projects.
• Execution of the regulatory strategy of our products.

Manager Product Development & Technology (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• After familiarisation: Management and strategic planning of the "Product Development and Technology" department
• Development and implementation of innovation strategies to create new products and technologies
• Further development/new development of products/formulations
• Coordination and supervision of product development projects in close cooperation with internal departments and external partners (including suppliers)
• Market analyses and trend scouting to identify future developments and technologies
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and regulatory demands (BPR, REACH regulations, etc.)
• Support for patent applications and intellectual property
• Responsibility for quality management and safety
• Support for the sales team (including on-site at the customer) with technical questions and product issues
• Budget responsibility and resource management for the projects of the "Product Development and Technology" department
• Responsible for the execution of the regulatory strategy of our products.

Your profile

• Completed studies in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field; ideally a doctorate
• Several years of professional experience in a leadership position in product development and technology
• In-depth expertise and experience in the chemical industry, especially in the chemical technology of paper manufacturing
• Experience in project management and leading interdisciplinary teams
• Good knowledge of "Regulatory Affairs" (BPR, REACH, etc.) and quality management
• High analytical skills, innovative strength, and entrepreneurial thinking
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Experience in dealing with and collaborating with a “dispersed Sales Force” of an industrial service provider.
• Strong service mindset and experience with service chemicals
