Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Director of Product Portfolio Management to steer investment decisions across the product portfolio in a highly AI-enabled environment. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Strategy to ensure strategic funding and profitable outcomes.

You will manage the planning cycle, maintain portfolio taxonomy, and drive governance, while leveraging AI to accelerate analysis and decision making.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in portfolio/product management, product strategy, or operations.
• Strong track record with cross-functional partners.
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills; ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred with financial grounding.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual capital planning cycle from guidance to funding decisions.
• Analyze product profitability and guide portfolio rationalization with Finance.
• Maintain master product list and portfolio taxonomy; keep stakeholders informed.
• Track business cases through investment and delivery lifecycle.
• Put AI at the center; leverage AI to accelerate analysis and decision support.
• Collaborate with Finance on capital allocation and profitability metrics.
• Support resource and people planning across prioritized products.
• Distill portfolio stories for leadership and investors.
• Align stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Strategy.
