Thomson Reuters seeks a Lead AI Engineer to set architectural direction across an AI-native agent platform. You will lead senior engineers, architect production AI agent systems, and push quality and safety early in the pipeline while scaling many initiatives in parallel.

Across core infrastructure, internal tooling, and observability, you’ll drive progressive delivery, mentor teams, and align with product leadership to translate strategy into concrete system designs.

Qualificações

• Experience architecting and shipping production software systems with AI/LLM-powered products or agentic systems.
• Direct experience with modern LLM APIs, agent frameworks/SDKs, or tool integration protocols.
• Track record of setting technical direction across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Strong backend fundamentals, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and production observability.

Responsabilidades

• Set technical architecture and direction across core agent infrastructure and tooling.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across high-priority initiatives.
• Architect and build production AI agent systems on LLM APIs and orchestration infra.
• Design agent observability, evaluation pipelines, and regression detection.
• Advance deployment practices with progressive/feature-flag rollout for speed and safety.
• Drive RFCs/ADRs and maintain coherence across parallel initiatives.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise the technical bar for AI-native development.
