Zusammenfassung

Novartis in Basel, Switzerland, seeks a Cardiovascular and Metabolism TABL Director to lead the disease biomarker matrix team and drive fit-for-purpose biomarker strategies across early to late-stage programs. You will be a core member of CVM clinical project teams, interface with Translational Data Science, and advance precision medicine for heart failure, ASCVD, obesity and atrial fibrillation.

The role combines leadership in matrix teams, strategic biomarker development, and collaboration

Qualifikationen

• MD/PhD or equivalent required.
• Deep understanding of cardiovascular and metabolic disease epidemiology with emphasis on ASCVD.
• Publications and clinical/biological expertise in cardiovascular/metabolic diseases.
• 5+ years of independent leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience leading biomarker strategy to support registration/launch.
• Strong communication and influential leadership with senior stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; other languages helpful.

Aufgaben

• Deliver biomarker strategies for early through late phase projects in CVM.
• Lead matrixed SMEs and project stakeholders to develop biomarkers strategies.
• Represent Biomarker Development on Disease Area boards to guide biology and precision medicine.
• Lead translational data groups analyzing multi-omics data to identify new indications/endpoints.
• Collaborate with BMD, TM, BR to advance initiatives (genetics, imaging, etc.).
• Stay current with literature and competitor data relevant to CVM.
• Design RDC biomarker strategy for transitioning assets to late phase.
