Novartis is seeking a Therapeutic Area Head in Biomarker Development within Translational Medicine in Basel. The role leads disease biology, biomarker strategy, and cross-functional programs to advance precision medicine.

You will mentor teams, shape exploratory and validated biomarker approaches, and collaborate with global partners to drive innovative research and development. The role requires a PhD and/or MD with deep drug development expertise, fluent English, and strong leadership skills

Qualifikationen

• Fluent in oral and written English; ability to communicate with senior leadership and external partners.
• Proven track record leading diverse biomarker teams and projects.
• Deep expertise in drug development and translational biomarker strategies.

Aufgaben

• Identify, develop and drive biomarker strategies across Neuroscience and DARe portfolios.
• Provide strategic oversight for indication selection, biomarker strategy and mechanism investigations.
• Lead and mentor biomarker project leads and therapeutic area leads.
