Novartis is seeking a Cardiovascular and Metabolism TABL (Director) to lead disease biomarker strategies, guiding biomarker development across early to late-stage clinical development. You will interface with Translational Data Science and clinical teams to enable precision medicine across multiple CVM indications.

The role requires MD/PhD or PhD with 5+ years in leadership within pharma/biotech settings, and strong publication and collaboration experience. Hybrid work in Basel/US is offered.

Qualifikationen

• MD/PhD required; postdoc or equivalent level research.
• Deep cardiovascular/metabolic disease knowledge with ASCVD emphasis.
• 5+ years leadership in multidisciplinary matrix teams.

Aufgaben

• Deliver biomarker strategies across early to late phase for CVM portfolio.
• Lead matrixed SMEs and program stakeholders to develop biomarker strategies.
• Represent biomarker development on Disease Area boards for portfolio decisions.
• Lead translational data groups to identify new indications and endpoints.
• Collaborate with global BMD organization across biomarker science domains.
