Job summary

CERN's IC Technology R&D team is seeking an engineer to advance electronics for future particle detectors, focusing on system-level modelling and digital ASIC design to bridge architecture-level simulation and hardware implementation.

You will develop and validate innovative electronic systems, collaborate with engineers, physicists and software developers, and contribute to the verification, performance improvement and documentation of designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and use simulation models to study and optimise electronic systems for future particle detectors.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of digital integrated circuits based on system-level specifications.
• Support the verification and validation of electronic designs through simulation and testing.
• Collaborate with engineers, physicists and software developers on the development of advanced detector electronics.
• Help improve the performance, efficiency and reliability of electronic systems.
• Document designs, results and technical developments, and share knowledge within the team.
