Zusammenfassung

Sonar is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data & ML Platform team to design and build the data platform that supports our product domains. You will enable data ownership by delivering robust storage, transformation, and load capabilities through scalable pipelines and connectors.

You will collaborate with product managers, marketing, and engineering to implement data handling services, ensure governance, and maintain secure, well-documented data flows.

Qualifikationen

• Solid software engineering experience with data engineering pipelines and cloud storage.
• Experience with big data architectures, streaming, ETL batches, and data store administration.
• Developer mindset with emphasis on data and services.
• Strong end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines in Python (batch or streaming).
• Experience with Databricks or building data pipelines with PySpark is a plus.
• Proficient with AWS services (Glue, Redshift, S3, CloudWatch, Lambdas).
• Knowledge of Data Lake, Data Warehouse concepts.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Design and implement data storage, transformation, and load capabilities for pipelines.
• Enhance the data platform and manage data handling services per stakeholder needs.
• Build end-to-end pipelines including data cleaning and modeling.
• Develop and deploy connectors to data sources of interest.
• Maintain comprehensive data flow documentation across systems.
• Collaborate on Data Governance with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with security to meet standards and with incident management for post-mortem actions.
