Keyrock is building a world-class Data Platform. We seek an experienced data platform engineer to design streaming pipelines and a lakehouse with a strong emphasis on governance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

You will own data contracts, build self-serve tools, and collaborate across trading, risk, product, and research teams. You’ll work in a predominantly remote team with hubs and global collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of building production data systems that other people rely on.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with deep understanding of what the engine does.
• Readable, testable, and maintainable code is expected.
• Strong data modelling for streaming and analytical workloads.
• Emphasis on efficiency, quality, idempotency, and observability.

Aufgaben

• Build streaming and batch pipelines ingesting market and portfolio data, resilient to failures.
• Create self-serve tooling (SDKs, templates, AI agents) for data products.
• Own data contracts and schema evolution to avoid multi-team coordination issues.
• Design lakehouse and time-series layer around common query patterns.
• Develop Data Governance and Data Quality framework with lineage and ownership.
• Implement derived analytics for cross-exchange spreads and portfolio views.
• Ensure observability, cost, and performance are day-one priorities.
• Treat infrastructure as code using Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, and Platform teams.
