The role focuses on managing day-to-day security, ensuring site posture, overseeing security guard vendors, and enforcing AWS security standards. Travel to other regions may be required, and the position offers development opportunities within a major cloud provider.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on security operations experience in public or private sector and ability to use data to improve processes.
• Strong English verbal and written communication.
• Flexible and on-call availability for out-of-hours emergencies.
• Willingness to travel to Data Centers regionally and abroad.
• Valid Swiss driving license.
• 3+ years in a similar security role.
• Proficient with Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Ability to operate in an international environment.

Aufgaben

• Respond to security situations as directed by Cluster/Regional Security Manager.
• Support on-site contractor security team as primary contact.
• Report unusual events to the Cluster Manager promptly.
• Provide guidance to contract security officers.
• Oversee access control systems and badge deliveries.
• Investigate security events via alarm and CCTV systems.
• Coordinate with Security Operation Center during incidents.
• Create and improve procedures using data and metrics.
• Understand data center operational paths to identify vulnerabilities.
• Perform security inspections, audits and investigations.
• Travel to other regions as required.
