Zusammenfassung

EPFL's Dubochet Center for Imaging in Lausanne seeks a Cryogenic Electron Microscopist to operate, maintain and troubleshoot the Glacios and three Titan Krios microscopes within the cryo-EM core facility. You will support researchers from EPFL/UNIL and external customers, contributing to platform development and high-level service.

The role advances data acquisition, processing and structure determination workflows, with collaboration across an international team in a dynamic research

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. in structural biology or related field with cryo-EM experience.
• At least 1 year hands-on cryo-EM experience including operation, support, training, data acquisition or cryo-ET.
• Experience with cryo-EM software such as cryoSPARC, IMOD/eTomo and Scipion.
• SPA and/or cryo-ET workflows desirable.
• Strong understanding of cryo-EM data acquisition and processing workflows.
• Excellent communication skills in an English-speaking environment.
• Strong motivation to explore new research domains.
