Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive the technical strategy for customer accounts in Switzerland, owning architecture discussions and promoting platform adoption. You will lead complex design reviews and deliver production-grade AI and data solutions across cloud data platforms.

The role emphasizes hands-on solution building, deep data/AI expertise, and the ability to translate technical value for executive audiences.

Qualifications

6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, data science/AI, or pre-sales with hands-on solution building and customer-facing leadership.
Deep expertise in modern data and AI architectures (lakehouse, real-time, cloud-native platforms) and ability to lead senior-stakeholder discussions.
Proficiency with AI/ML concepts, agentic architectures, and semantic data models enabling context-aware applications.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical strategy from discovery to production deployment to drive platform adoption.
Lead complex architecture discussions, designing production-grade solutions across data engineering, AI/ML, agentic systems, and real-time analytics.
Serve as a trusted technical partner to customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors to shape their data and AI journey on Databricks.
Develop an emerging technical specialization in AI/ML, agentic systems, or related domains as a go-to resource.
Orchestrate cross-functional resources to deliver end-to-end AI and data solutions for complex customer needs.
Provide structured feedback to product teams on customer requirements, AI capabilities, and competitive gaps.
