Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions and driving platform adoption. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects, shaping Databricks as the foundation of their data and AI strategy.

You will develop a technical specialization, lead architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and analytics, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver complex solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, or senior technical roles.
• Strong coding in Python and SQL with live coding and debugging skills.
• Expertise in distributed data systems and lakehouse patterns.
• Proficient with Databricks Platform and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience leading architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Experience deploying to production in cloud environments with governance.
• Excellent communication; able to translate architectures to business value.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical strategy for accounts, from discovery to production deployment.
• Lead complex architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer architects and directors.
• Drive technical wins by demonstrating differentiators with custom solutions.
• Develop emerging technical specialization for team expertise.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions.
