Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions, driving platform adoption, and acting as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects. You will design scalable, production-grade solutions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics, and develop a developing technical specialization for your team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or similar senior technical roles.
• Strong coding in Python and SQL with live coding ability.
• Deep expertise in scalable distributed data architectures.
• Proficiency with Databricks Platform and developing a technical archetype.
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Experience deploying to production on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Excellent communication translating architectures to business value.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery through deployment and growth.
• Lead complex architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer architects and Directors.
• Drive technical wins by showcasing Databricks differentiation through custom solutions.
• Develop an emerging technical specialization (archetype) for your team.
• Orchestrate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Influence product direction with structured feedback from customers.
