Job summary

The Commercial Training Manager for Austria & Switzerland will develop and implement training strategies for the commercial teams, align with the leadership and the EMEA training organization, and identify learning needs across the region.

This field-based role sits in Abbott Diabetes Care, focusing on delivering impactful trainings on products, sales methodologies, and treatment trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant pharma/med tech experience.
• Fluent in German, French and English.
• University degree or executive training in adult education/coaching.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; cross-functional teamwork.
• Experience with modern training tools and methodologies; travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of the training strategy for Austria and Switzerland.
• Alignment of the training strategy with commercial leadership and the EMEA training organization.
• Identification of training needs and development of curricula.
• Organization of virtual and in-person trainings; conduct sessions.
• Regular knowledge checks and feedback loops on trainings delivered.
