Gasthof zum Ochsen in Basel is seeking a Chef de Partie m/f to join a young team dedicated to high-quality, seasonal cuisine. You will craft dishes in a modern kitchen and contribute to a traditional Swiss dining experience with in-house butchered meat and artisanal patisserie.

The role calls for EFZ cook training, proven station leadership, disciplined kitchen practices, and a team-oriented mindset; German language skills are essential for daily communication.

Chef de Partie m/f - Basel

We are one of the last three "Gasthof Ochsen" in Switzerland with an in-house butcher's shop in family ownership. "Meat enjoyment with family tradition" is lived daily with us. Our hotel features 35 modern rooms, an à la carte restaurant, our "village terrace" in summer and 2 banquet halls. Our specialties are newly interpreted classics and Butchers Cut. In our own patisserie, wonderful dessert creations are made. Since 2024, we have been listed with 13 points at Gault & Millau.
